Melbourne's Sugar Blue

Experienced and versatile wedding band, also expert in corporate functions and dinner party events.

Members of Sugar Blue are:

Scott  – Drums
Vince  – Double Bass,  Electric Bass
Optional  – A Female Singer,  or Keyboard Player can be added to our line-up.

 All members of Sugar Blue are seasoned professionals and take pride in their presentation and equipment.

  Paul Paul is English/Jamaican and has vocal style and sound that is smooth and pleasing to the ear. He is well versed in various genres including jazz, soul and pop music styles. He has performed at numerous functions, major events and festivals across Australia.
These include the Crown Casino, The Spirit of Tasmania (boat), The St.Kilda Festival, Menzies Rialto, Brighton International and Eureka.

  Pete also draws on wide experiences having been a member of well-known bands Melbourne Ska Orchestra and Bustamento. He has toured Australia and Internationally. Pete is a versatile musician playing the beautiful Soprano Sax right through to the deep sounding Baritone Sax as well as hand percussion.
  Scott is a well respected Melbourne drummer well established in the jazz scene. He appears regularly at Dizzy’s jazz club along with Paris Cat, Manchester Lane and Crown Casino. Festivals have included the Wangaratta Jazz festival.
Scott is a smooth drummer with great dynamic range according to the setting.
  Vince also has wide experience in the Melbourne music scene. Many of the dates in recent times have been with Paul and Pete. with performances at the Royal Hotel in Essendon, Music Day for the City of Casey and as quartet at Tesselaars Tulip Festival. Weddings are a regular occurrence.

Equipment

Where needed the band can provide their own P.A. and some lighting. They are courteous and professional in their conduct and play for the audience as much as themselves.
